I have been passionately interested in photography for over 50 years. Originally learning the wide variety of techniques necessary to process both film and prints in a ‘wet’ darkroom (black & white and color).Experimentation has resulted in some very unique results. Scanning in my slides and negatives I have in some cases decided not to remove scratches on the film thereby attesting to the photos origin. My extensive background in technology made me an early adopter of digital, finally moving completely to digital cameras in September of 2001.
Having very eclectic tastes has resulted I a wide variety of photographed subjects and techniques.
My work has been commissioned or requested for inclusion in books, magazines and web sites as well as being accepted into a number of juried exhibitions.
I have been requested as a lecturer and as a judge for juried competitions.
I am based in South Florida where I currently teach photography and photo editing, and am the owner of ADKERO Photography.
